This comprehensive study, based on a survey of nonprofit CEOs and foundation officers provides insight into attitudes and experience around four types of nonprofit collaborations. Statistical and anecdotal information is provided regarding the rate of collaboration, perception of success, interest in exploring future collaborations, the role of foundations in the process, foundation attitudes regarding nonprofit collaboration, failure rates (by type of collaboration), and definitions of success.
